During Fire Prevention month our local fire department makes two special trips to our facility to make a fire prevention presentation. One presentation is with their safety house and their equipment needed to help at a fire.

The second presentation is made with their puppets, and perform a wonderful puppet show for the children.

At Thanksgiving we have a very special feast with the children to celebrate the Pilgrims and Native Americans becoming friends.

We also celebrate the holidays with special snacks and activities.

During December we discuss the people in our community. We also ask for parents who work for our community to come in and speak about what they do in the community.

When Santa is in town he makes a special visit to East End Kids to visit the children.

In June we have a graduation celebration for our four year olds that are moving onto Kindergarten.
