When a child is registered to attend East End Kids we ask that the parents fill out an authorization form. This form is a list of people that the parents authorize permission to drop off or pick up their child. We take this information and enter it into our computer and apply each person with a pin number. The first time an authorized person comes in to our facility they must have photo identification to have their picture taken so we can enter this information into the computer. When a child is brought in or picked up, the authorized adult must enter their own pin number into the computer, which allows us to monitor who brings the child in and/or out of the building.

When the pin number is entered into the computer, the screen will be the children's picture and the picture of the authorized person. Any unauthorized adult will not be allowed to drop off or pick up any child and/or children.

At East End Kids Academy we have fire drills every month with the children. The children are instructed the safe way of exiting the building in case of an emergency.
